Uncover :)

If you could ask God one question...what would it be?
At CU, we've launched Uncover. It is UCCFs gospel project. We're being encouraged to read through Luke's gospel with our non Christian friends. Although this is hugely exciting, I mean we get to read an account of Jesus' life with someone who doesn't believe Jesus is the Son of God! We get to read this book that was written years ago with someone who it was written for! It's also pretty daunting. I mean, who do you ask? How do you ask? How do you give it to them? When is the right time? After one question? Two? Three? After a year?

There's a few people I want to ask, but these questions are a pain. Obviously you don't want to thrust the gospel into their hands and tell them to read it. So you have to wait for the conversations to come up.
No I'll hold my hands up and admit that I'm not a patient person. And now that I know Christ as my saviour. I find it hard to understand how others don't. Not because I'm big headed or anything. But because when you look into it, it's so obvious that it's true. So for me to hang around and wait for it to come up in conversation, especially with great friends who I want to see saved and spend eternity with in Heaven, is pretty hard. But I guess it's a great chance to learn patience.

So back to my first question. I guess this is a great chance for people to ask that question. And even maybe get an answer. How awesome would that be? If someone had the one question they wanted to ask God, answered. Awesome huh?

Anyway, if you're reading this and you know me and you'd like to do this, let me know. If you're reading this and aren't sure where to start with asking people. Talk to God. You don't need a phone and he'll always answer.

He's awesome :D
