Growing up

It's taken me a few days to decide what to blog about as this is my 200th blog! So, I decided to write about Saturday. Kind of.

On Saturday, I went to collect my keys for my house. That would be correct. My house. Kind of. For university this year I am living in a house with 5 other Christian girls. I'm moving in in about a week and a half! Kind of scary. But going to collect my keys made me feel very very grown up.
This time last year I thought I was grown up moving out into a student flat to a city I'd been to twice. But no. This year I feel even more grown up, moving into a house. Totally different experience.

The house is lovely, if a bit dirty and mismashed. If you walked in you would know that it's a student house. It's very plain. But I'm sure between the 6 of us we will sort that out. My room, I think is a little smaller then the one I've had this year at uni but is probably about the same as my room at home. My desk is a proper computer desk. Which I was a bit er....about as I have a laptop, but then realised it'll be great for research etc...as I can have my laptop on the top level and notebook on the lower. Only, I've gotta work out how to set it up comfortably. Maybe I'll just sit on my bed...
It is a very big house, with 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a nice kitchen, big lounge, 6 bedrooms and a second kitchen. Though it's more for odd bits and pieces as there's nothing to cook with in there and no fridge. We're calling our 'tea room' aha.
I'm looking forward to living there and just kind of want to move in. I do think I'll spend more time up at uni this year and not be so egar to go home. Hopefully also I won't be speaking to my Mum every night. I love talking to her just sometimes there isn't much to say or it interrupts my evening.

So now I feel very grown up. Some of my things are up at the house already. Not a lot. Kitchen stuff and a few odd bits and pieces to make it homey and some books. But now I have to think about packing everything up. My aim like last year is to have everything packed the day before I go. Which is either Friday or Saturday next week. Depending on if somethings happened at Mum's work.
So rather grown up I would say. Though nowhere near where I could be.
I honestly can't wait to move in. And with the results of recent events, I'll be able to enjoy everyones company all the time and not be glaring at a screen talking to others all the time.
