General ramblings

I'm one of those people who will decide that something has to be done and it will take me a good few weeks sometimes to actually do it. I do this a lot with my blog. I'll decide I should write one and then put it off and remember weeks later I meant to write one.
What I did today is a prime example of putting stuff off.
I moved back home about a month ago (was it really that long ago?!) and gradually unpacked everything and sorted out my desk and forgot to being my laptop to my room so it lived in the living room. Gradually my desk got messier and messier and I realised I needed to clear it off and bring up my laptop. I decided this about 2 weeks ago and only today have I finally done it. So right now I am sat in my big comfy black, spinny desk chair with my laptop on my desk, NOT my lap for once. It also means I can listen to music and sing along to my hearts content without my parents moaning when they get in.
I'm generally a lazy person. Or just forgetful. I like to go with the forgetful idea. Because I do genuinly forget things. I'll say I'll do something when I'm asked and just clean forget as I'm part way through another task.
Although, because it was put off (forgot!) it did lead me to do a couple of other tasks such as sort out my CD rack and my books.

I don't have a bookshelf so my books are lined along my windowsill. I hadn't realised how many I had as I normally read the same few over and over. I've recently read The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks and when I finished that I ordered The Notebook and so needed something else to read, something I knew well. So I dug out my well worn out copy of Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I know it's a book that a lot of people say is rubbish and I'll admit it's not the best piece of writing. But I like to be taken away and it does that. Takes me first to another country, then a whole mythical world.
Sorry about the tangent, but it turns out I have a fair few books I didn't even know I had! So looks like I have plenty to read over the summer. Hopefully that will mean I'll spend less time staring at a computer screen and television. Well, that is the hope anyway.

Back to what I was originally saying, I do still have a room to complete tidying. Why is it that you can tidy a room and even though you only sleep in it, it still gets messy? It must be the 'backson' from Winnie The Pooh. If you don't get that reference I suggest you use a well known internet video site and look it up. I enjoy it at university as it makes me feel a little girl again, which as I feel so grown up university, isn't so much of a bad thing.
So this was a general ramblings post. Maybe you've learnt a little about me. Maybe you haven't. Perhaps it will have been a few minutes of your life that you will never get back, or maybe you enjoyed it. Whatever it was, thanks for reading it.
