'More Beautiful You'

This song is sung by a guy called Jonny Diaz and I only know about it because a very good friend of mine sent it to me. He thought I would enjoy the song (and I really do). It's one of those that I can listen to on my worst day and I feel so much better :)

I think it's got one of those messages in which is very true. It goes against what the media (and probably your friends) say. 'There can never be a more beautiful you'. I was thinking the other day (as you do) and something came across my mind. Why would I try to look different when this is how I was made? However you believe you were created and designed (if you believe you were designed) you were made perfect. There's no need for make up or fake tans or plastic surgery. 

The video for the song is rather impressive (see below). I fell in love with the video and it's stuck in my mind ever since. I really did fall in love with the song and the video and I think it's one that everyone should listen too. Whether they like this kind of music or not. It's got an amazing message to it. And in the culture that we live in now and the messages we're told everyday. (No doubt today I'll see a loreal advert. 'Because you're worth it.') Do we really need to be told we deserve the 'best'? When we are each unique and are beautiful in our own natural way. Everyone should deserve the best and shouldn't have to be told they do.
