To a lot of people today (April 1st) is known as April Fools Day. Which granted it is. But today is also Palm Sunday. It kicks of Holy week which is the week leading up to the oh so brilliant Easter Sunday. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. This week is in some ways my favourite and in others my least favourite. I love it as it's the centre of my Christian faith. Christ was killed on Good Friday and rose on Easter Sunday. However, I don't like Good Friday as it upsets me knowing how brutally Christ was killed. It's horrible how they crucified people. It's torture. So I tend to dodge services on that day. This year we're going to see my Grandparents. Which is nice as I don't have to go to any services at Church. It sounds bad but it's true that I can't cope with it.
But Palm Sunday is a different story. People lined the street with palm leaves, worshipping Christ as he arrived into Jerusalem. Was incredible. Real joy.
So that's my blog today. Looking forward to this week. It's a week that created the ultimate 'Life or death' choice.
