Do Everything

I found this gem of a song a fair few weeks ago and shared it with a very good friend of mine. It's just such a catchy song. I sing it all day and love listening to it. My friend who I shared it with describes it as 'funky' and he wants me to teach it him. Maybe I shall have to do a little dance for it. The video is just absolutly genius too.
It's got such a true message to it too though. It's fabulous and it certainly gives me the motivation to go and do stuff that maybe I don't want to do. Like getting up for lectures at 7.30am! And sitting in uni all day listening to people tell you things you already know. Or clearing up after very messy flatmates. I guess it also helps when I'm contemplating doing something that perhaps I shouldn't like yelling at messy flatmates, or skiving uni or even other things. It's such a good message.
It's sung by Steven Curtis Chapman. He did another quite famous song called Cinderella. (I will insert the video for that song at the end.) He wrote it for his daughter I believe. It's such a beautiful song. The first time I heard it, it made me cry. It's about a dad who makes his daughter a priority and dances with her throughout her life knowing that one day she'll move away and have another guy to live with and look after him. It's so beautiful.
So I just wanted to share this gem with you. It's not a song I knew existed until a few weeks ago and now I sing it everywhere I go. So maybe you can too. And remind yourself 'to do everything you do to the glory of the one who made you, cause he made you, to do everything little thing that you do to bring a smile to his face, tell the story of grace, with every move that you make and everything that you do.'
