Dearest Taylor,
I’ll be the first to admit I’m a rather shy boy and since music is the most eloquent form of communication I can muster, I decided to record something for you — as sort of a “reply” to the breathtaking song on your current record. This is what I wanted so badly to tell you in person but could never quite put into words:
Everything about you is beautiful. You’re an immensely charming girl with a wonderful heart and more grace and elegance than I know how to describe. You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale; a modern Cinderella. I’m terribly sorry it’s taken me such a long time to reply but I figured Valentine’s Day was the perfect time to write this note to you and simply say… I was enchanted to meet you too.
Love,
Adam
I thought it was beautiful and deserves a place in my blog. If a guy was to ever do that for me, and was trusting my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ he would definutly need prayerful consideration as to whether I could spend my life with him. It is truly beautiful and I hope Taylor Swift snaps him up. It's like something out of a fairytale.
Every girl wants to find her Prince, it's common knowledge. They go to bars and clubs and some resort to online dating sites to find him. What if he's your next door neighbour? Or your best friend, or someone you never looked at twice? Why do we go to bars, clubs, chatrooms, dating sites? Yes maybe he's there but chances are you'll meet a load of guys who aren't even worth looking at.
But another thought, why do we date? I've just finished Joshua Harris' book 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' and it has made me wonder why we 'date'. Especially as teenagers. It so often messes us up by giving us bad opinions of guys. I joke about becoming a nun because then I don't have to deal with boys. It makes us group ALL men as 'cheats', 'liars', 'scum', 'worthless', 'waste of space'. Why do it? Why don't we wait until we're grown up, got our lives in order and have a realistic view of men?
Just think about it.
Love to you all
xxxx
