The Lady of the North

Today I went to Northumberlandia with Chris. There is this big sculpture of a woman named 'The Lady of the North.' They used the surroundings and all these hills and whatnot to create this woman. It looks like this from the sky...

It was pretty amazing to walk round. All these paths. And when you're walking around you can't really tell what's what. Well, some bits are more obvious than others. It was a freezing cold day so we wrapped up and went for it. We were there for a while, wondering around. And ended up sitting down at one point. That was a mistake. A stone seat...our bums were freezing after. The heated seats in the car were needed!!
It really was pretty amazing to go too. Neither of us had been before, so it was amazing to do something new for the both of us. Usually Chris has already done something. So this was pretty rare.
We had a load of fun, I would certainly go back. But maybe on a warmer clearer day!
