So I blogged earlier in the week about how I was about to come back to uni. Well I have now been back for a few days and I can honestly say that it feels as though I never left. Everything has just carried on.
Obviously there have been some changes. I am living elsewhere now...and with a couple of new people (some of the oldies remain :D) I am also in my final year. Though lessons are yet to begin so it doesn't really feel like I am in my final year yet.
I am trying to make myself super organised this year. So I have a nice big wall planner. This means I can see my holidays and deadlines in advance...rather than just looking at one month. This does however make the year look very short and I have loads to do. But I am sure I can do it with God's help :D
So my new flat this year has me and 3 other girls that I lived with last year, a guy from CU and a girl from my course. We have 5 Christians and 1 non Christian. It's interesting. But we will see how the year pans out. I'm on the ground floor this year which is odd. In my first year I was on the ground floor but I had a net curtain. It didn't feel all that awkward. This year I have those odd blinds like you get in doctors surgeries. Although you do get a curtain rail so I have my lovely curtains I brought at the end of last year up. So that's all good. I have a lovely dark room to sleep in which is great.
So far it is definutly the best accommodation I have had. Great sized room and location and amazing people...
Chrissy is still here of course so we've done a few things. Everything has just got me stuck back into life in Sunderland. I've been reminded of why I love it so much.
I'm starting to think about after my degree and the idea of staying in Sunderland has come to me. So I'm starting to think through whether that is something I could do. Could I live away from home perminantly now and is it something I can do finanically? Only time will tell.
On that note I may have to now cave and have a cold shower...there is no heating or hot water at the moment due to a leak in a boiler....not great. It may be pyjamas and a hot water bottle for warmth after...
