January - So just a few days after writing my 2010 review and saying me and Rob got together that broke down too. We discovered we didn't really have anything in common. We didn't realise how little before we got together. Which was strange but heyho. Things broke down with Rachel too. That friendship completly broke down and we've not spoken since. Which is a shame, but if she was gonna be immature and fall out over a guy, I knew I was better off without her. Paul told me I was never allowed another boyfriend (git), Adam started looking after me. And I was now also anxiously waiting to hear from some universities I had applied for!
February - I was starting to hear from universities. I was getting a couple of interview dates. And I also got a request to send a video to a university to prove why they should accept me. Things were a bit awkward in college cause of Rachel, but Carrie and Natalie took me in. We were working on 2 projects now. Making a video installation as individuals AND a group project making a LIVE tv show. CRAZY! It was a lot of fun.
March - I had 2 uni interviews and a live tv show to do in just a few days at the end of the month. My month was bonkers PLUS Sophie was due to come back from Brazil. It was a very exciting and busy month.
April - 2 interviews and a tv show down and still no word from Sunderland. So I was bugging them loads and eventually had a phone interview. Failed to get onto one course but got onto my top course and my top university. I was so happy. It made my month.
May - By this point Sophie was happily settled back in the country and she was about for a week as part of her gap year so I saw her a few times which made me so happy. I was working uber hard at uni, picking up some grades to secure my place at uni and I was getting more and more frustrated with Paul who was bugging me.
June - Last month of college and I was putting my head down. Avoiding Paul as much as possible but he still had me wrapped around his finger. Sophie also finished her gap year. :D
July - My last day of college was the first and that was watching out FMPs. I also got my final grades. DMM. I was off to Sunderland. :) I had a lot of catching up to do with Sophie and camp called. I was a berean. LOTS of hard work behind the scenes but very rewarding and I learnt alot and made some good new friends.
August - My birthday :) Which I can't remember what I did for it! I also cut Paul out of my life. Was a lot easier then I thought it would be. That chapter is now closed. Still regret what I did but I'm stronger for it now.
September - AHHHH I moved to uni. Scary and exciting. i had to learn to live without my parents. Which was easier then I thought it would be.
October - I was adapting to living away from home. Made some VERY good friends and was adapting to a whole new lifestyle. And education!
November - I saw Katy Perry LIVE and had my Berean reunion. (Both times I went home.)
December - Time to go home for Christmas. And Christmas. It was quiet and small but Christmas and lovely non the less. :)
Thats my year. I have not had a boyfriend for almost a year. (Nearly beaten my record since my first!) I have achived so much that I never thought I would and I have learnt who my true friends are. I've made some AMAZING new friends. It has been a truly amazing year and I want to thank everyone who has made it so amazing.
Now for my resolutions.
- Again, get that Bible open. I failed on it this year.
- Stop seeing guys as prospective husbands but see them and love them as brothers. If I'm gonna marry he will come along!
So thats them two. So for now it's time to say farewell for the year. I shall really try and blog more next year. I really want to. I really have missed it this year. And I have felt the effects of not doing it!
